Gotta be shapeshifting. I'd love to be able to turn into anything, and I mean ANYthing, at all; for as long as I wanted, and still keep my mind and senses.
I could be a super hero and fight crime, catch terrorists, all that. For me, I would be the type that helps the authorities by capturing criminals for them, or giving them information on where they are hiding.
My powers would also allow me to do some really cool things for purely selfish reasons, like turn into a bird and fly around. I'd turn into a Ferrari and let my wife take me for a joyride. Let my kids fly me as a kite, or turn into a dog to catch a frisbee with them. Go deep sea diving as a robot submersible with my wife at the controls. Turn into a radio controlled car, place, or boat, but control myself since I would be able to set the radio wavelength. Snuggle with my wife as a blanket. Go to the waterpark with her as her swimsuit. Hey, admission is expensive, and I would do that for her, hehe.

well let me think about it.....I would have the power to effect the human body. Like healing? I would kill for the power to just prolong the death of some dying kids with cancer. Give them a chance at least. And if someone pisses me off, id lay my hands on them and well bad things would happen. I dunno either to heal.....or have mastery over electricity. To shoot it out of my hands or become it. Hell...it would make travelling easier. And if your made out of electricity, no bullets can hit you, you could charge a whole power plant. And there goes the relience on forgien oil! Even driving an electric car would be a snap. Id never have to pay the electric bill ever again! Id ride in a raincloud....and ome down like lightning! eh...im a nerd....:-)

An absolute real super power that I would want is never to tire or be bored. If I can live, love and participate in life then I will be forever young.
I dont want to be tired mentally or phycially - just want to be full of life and energy at *any* age!
I dont want to be a super hero - I want to be super human...

To control the Nuclear Forces, both the Strong and the Weak. I could then control the composition of matter at my will. I could turn anything into an atomic bomb by just splitting their atoms. Or I could turn one element into another. The potential is pretty much limitless if you can control the Nuclear Forces.

Seriously, I'd want the power to turn myself invisible because I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to just "be a fly on the wall" and know what people are saying about me and/or other people.

You would see me as someone to be trusted, adored and obeyed! That way, I could get whantever I wanted, and if you had a super power of your own, you would use it for me....

I would want the power to be able to control peoples free will. Who wants to turn invisble to sneak in someplace when you can make other people not care.
