SRV does a blistering cover of Voodoo Chile that you'd probably dig, then. Also, check out other covers, like Stevie Wonder's Very Superstitious. Personally, my fave SRV song is still Pride And Joy.

For starters, check out the more well known songs--Crossfire, Pride and Joy, Couldn't stand the Weather and his cover of Hendrix's Little Wing. Some of my favorite bluesy type songs of his are: The Sky is Crying, Boot Hill, and Life by the Drop. Check 'em out. I think you'll like them.

Tightrope or existence with the aid of the Drop perchance? I worked in Dallas whilst he died - observed his funeral procession... took 40 5 minutes - longer than the presidential motorcade I observed purely some months later.

It's all good... you won't go wrong with any of it.

I remember the day he died. I was a junior in college... it was a sad sad day.

Also, Family Style an album he did with his brother Jimmie is awesome too!
