No, the issue is that gays are attacked so often on this site, that any question is concidered a slam agenst them ans so respond with the same negitive reactions. If you really want to understand the inner workings, try reposting the question with different wording which is more "Gay Freindly", avoid social sterotypes and wordinbg used in negitivly at times, such as asking "Are All Gays Mean".

Ok...I would have to almost agree with the poster. Now hear me out...I am gay. Not all gay people are, but a whole hell of a lot have attitudes. It is almost like some try to say "Well I was picked on so here *****!" In turn those who do it are more in the spotlight than those who are quiet and really keep to themselves. Now it also depends on how you ask the questions. If you are truly curious, and wish to gain knowledge so that you do not come across as well...ignorant than there really is no excuse. But if you are being a smart *** then you have it coming to you. But yes a lot have attitudes, and I try to stay away from them since they make me look bad.

Well if your questions are phrased in such a way that you come across as an ignorant offensive idiot then it won't just be gay people who are mean to you! And what a silly question anyway! Are all straight people mean? Go figure!

I have a lot of gay friends and 2 gay relatives they are very nice people and have lots of friends and families who feel the same way. Maybe they could sense your disapproval and judgment when asking your questions. Nobody likes to feel like a science experiment.

Are all mean people gay? Think about your silly question and stop generalizing! How would you like people asking you questions because they intend to try to to "figure you out"? That's rude. Live and let live; the sex lives of consenting adults are none of your business!

well it all depends on how u approch a homo. i am a femme lesbo and when a person tries 2 judge me and say , "ue 2 pretty to b with a woman u need a man", yes i will cuss they *** out. then u have the men who r gay. of couse they will b most offended if they feel a look or act of judgment being passed b/c todays society has still not accepted gays.

It is sad but true in order to be truly Gay one needs to be heartless cruel mean, it is part of the divine deal with God, the most pathetic backwoods redneck has more heart & compassion than most Gay people, that is simply how things are.

any gay guys are very nice. When you ask your questions, make sure you do not make inflamatory remarks towards gay people or any gay slurs. Ask honest questions and the nice ones will give you a nice answer.

Hey, Gays aren't out bashing skinheads with baseball bats, or murdering them, either for that matter. I imagine they are on the defensive, because they are constantly bashed, not just on Answers, but their day to day lives. Some of them are nasty but in every cross section of people on Answers, you can find real beasties!
Just try to coach your questions in such a way that makes it clear you are merely interested.

no, most of us aren't (unless we're provoked by bigots!)

perhaps you should rephrase they way you ask your questions?
then you wouldn't get "slammed" and people wouldn't think you were a bigot. unless of course you are....then you need to learn take what you dish out!
judging from your previous questions, you asked for it!

I'm not being mean, I'm making an observation.
