I am guessing your car is a front wheel drive and therefore has an electric fan. On Mazdas, the fans last forever. Check the fan temp sensor which is near the thermostat/top radiator hose. If OK, may be a relay problem. If you had mentioned the year and model, I could have been more specific.

It depends on what kind of engine you have...but if it has a fan, it has a fan belt...it probably broke. Some can be replaced yourself (if your good at that kind of thing); others may require shop equipment. If it is the fan belt, you will want to determine if there's an underlying...and more serious...problem. Good luck.

it,s either blown a main fuse ,,or the fan has went out,,you can test the fan by running a hot wire strait to it,,if it work,s ,,then look for a blown fuse or a bad relay,,there is sometimes a fan switch that mount,s on the motor that help,s kick the fan on,,also check ,,or have this checked out,,i hope this help,s.
