it is white and it says 140 West-Ward on onw side and it has splitter lines on the other. What is it??

West-Ward 140 is a medicine used to treat severe headaches and migraines. The active ingredients are caffeine, acetaminophen, and butalbital. Butalbital is a barbiturate sedative or relaxant used for headaches due to neck and shoulder strain causing headaches. This is a controlled substance and a dangerous drug because of the side effects and drug interactions. I believe it would be safe to discard it.

You can (1) take it to the pharmacy, show it to a pharmicist and explain about finding it after a party and your a concerned parent (or whatever) and just want to know if anyone is using anything illegal or maybe left legal prescription medicine behind, or(2) you can go to main library that has a reference book for pill identification (color photos included). I forget the name of it...Physicians Desk Reference or something like that.
