It is a derogatory term that's been around for years. I believe it refers to a Caucasian woman who is passionately attracted to a black man, or men. The attraction is not that it is derogatory to the women, except as intended, but it can mean that blacks are all from the jungle. Either way it isn't a very savory term for any ones dating preferences. Caucasian or Black.

Because of inbred hillbillies who still live in the old days when the races never mixed "just because." They can't handle the idea of interracial dating, so they equate it with primitive behavior.
Or, you could look at it the other way - evolution happens in the rain forest where species have to be smart and adapt. Interracial dating is part of evolving as a species.
