you can get them lazered off...its expensive but it works

Mederma is expensive and it only works because it has onion in it.
if you take a piece of onion (yellow is best), slightly larger then the scar/wound and tape it in place. You will heal wounds and keep scaring down to hardly anything. I have a round scar from being bit by a Brown Recluse spider. I used the onion on it and now my scar feels like soft baby skin and can not be seen unless you look really close and were looking for it in the first place.
Change the bandage 2-3 times a day and healing will be rapid. For wounds it also helps cure infection and takes away the pain. Great for when you step on a nail.
For scars alone you can tape the onion on at night and remove in the morning. It will take longer, but will work.

Mederma,available otc
Equal parts honey and lemon juice,apply twice daily.
Hydroquinone lotion,less than 4%
Use a sunblock faithfully to avoid worsening the dark spots ,of no less than 45 SPF

Also... I use a cover up cream. Its so wonderful it covers anything from scars, stretchmarks, birthmarks, tattoos, pigmentation, acne, blemishes, ect.. ect... you will love it, you cant even tell, just check out the website, it shows the before and after. I use it and adore it. Good luck.

I would definitely try Mederma. It is OTC and doesn't cost a fortune. I used it and it worked great wonders on my scars, and now you can't hardly even see them.

i personally like having all my scars. i feel like such a girly girl at times, and i hate it, so i like showing people that i'm not a girly girl, and showing off my scars! don't try and hide them, unless you really need to. but i kow they have a lot of scar-cover-ups in like just general drug stores.
