You hear it every day, more and more criminals are busted, and then just slapped on the wrist and set free. Why? In Chicago last week a man was arrested for his, get this, ELEVENTH DUI. He was fined and let go. Two nights later he was caught again DUI, and again he was fined and let go. Why do we as a society tollerate this? This man should be in jail for years.

Oh, I totally agree. We American are far too easy on criminals. We allow our elections to be rigged and stolen. We allow treasonous liars to take us to war. We allow imprisonment without charge or trial. We allow torture. We allow billions of our tax dollars to be "lost" without investigation. We allow war profiteers to commit crimes against humanity in our name. We allow our privacy to be invaded without a warrant. We allow our environment to be raped and polluted with impunity. Why do we Americans allow these heinous crimes and more to go on without protest?
**shrug** don't bother me now ... American Idol is on.

It's an impossible task but we need to overhaul our judicial system. When we say jail for life it should mean when you're carried out in a body bag....everybody gets the same penalties, fines, and jail time, regardless of race, color, creed, if your wealthy or famous you get treated the same, corruption in our penal system is treated harshly, drunk drivers who kill people are charged with first degree murder, etc. It's massive and it's never going to be fixed because it'll cost millions of dollars and they'd rather make sure gay people don't get married.

Because America is criminal.. look at the executive branch of the government who blatantly is violating not only our own laws, but the Geneva convention. How do you punish criminals when you are governed by them?

I think as a society we Americans have let go of basic values and we have become numb to these sorts of things. We accept everything now when we shouldn't be. It's very frustrating.

Can it take position? convinced. Does it recommend he or she benefits the benefit of the doubt each and every time? surely no longer. Regaining believe is the most confusing artwork you may want to do for your self ever, however it reaps large rewards if the criminal is keen to position in the time and attempt. numerous time.
