Would the microphone melt. This is the same man who told another senatory on the Senate floor to go phuck himself. Aren't we better off having such bleeping Christian gentlemen leading this bleeping country to a higher moral ground? You bet your bleeping asp we are.

Rich E: Good Lord. How do you extrapolate that I hate Christians from reading this? I don't hate Christians, just hypocrisy. Clinton was a hypocrite too. Does that absolve anyone else who is?

Naughty Gyorzxk!! you used the 'C' word and the rest of the question was completely ignored.

Let me try. I think a lot of people's ears would melt along with the microphone. I learned a long time ago that there is a phrase in the English language that makes me bristle. "I would never do that because I am a Christian." I have learned to put up a defense because every time that sentence has been used in conjunction with a trust issue, I have been let down. I think these self-professing Christians become defensive when they are called to task. I don't think they realize how they damage their 'testimony' by showing that in public.

You guys have a warped sense of Christians. We make mistakes just as does everybody else. We are supposed to because we are human beings. According to the Bible (and I am not attempting to convert anyone here, just trying to make a point), there was and will only be one perfect person to walk the Earth, that being Jesus Christ. That does not include his twelve disciples or the millions of his followers throughout history. His followers are all human and therefore a prone to making mistakes.
The way non-Christians jump all over Christians for making mistakes or making morally wrong decisions is funny. Often Christians are blamed for thinking they are better than others. I believe that misconception comes from those of you who think Christians are not SUPPOSED to make mistakes and then are all over us like a pit bull on a blood soaked poodle when we do.

Clinton was a Christian. I remember him carrying a bible after he, "Didn't have sex with that woman". His words not mine. Do you hate Clinton too? I didn't think so. You only hate the Cristian's that go to Church even if they're not in trouble for having relations with an INTERN. What admirable conduct for the most powerful man in the world. I hope he didn't swear while he was diddling the INTERN or he might lose your respect. Can you say, Double standard?

Well...guess he shouldn't say "dick" into an open microphone, eh? ;)
Maybe George Carlin was right...it's the intent, not the word itself.
How did Tony Blair react? He has probably let fly a few "shites" hisownself, when among friends!!

The Bible says that every man should work out his OWN salvation with fear and trembling...But yeah, it's frustrating having people so publicly open about their Christian beliefs be so casual with their language.

What is your point?

Life will go on.

That doesn't mean I'm proud of his position but when the majority vote of the people was overturned, I, as an individual simply gave up.
