I mean they live in the Virginias and in swampy places what do ya think the chances of one of these Venus Flytraps % of surviving in the desert?

Venus needs HIGH humidity,lots of water and filtered sunlight. Too much heat and light will burn them. Might be okay if you want to grow one in a pot in your bathroom, but other than that I'd say it'd probably die within a few months if you tried to put one outside.

No, it requires humidity and water. Unless you create an environment that it likes in the desert.

You answered the question when you said they lived in swamps. They are a bog plant and require certain amounts of moisture to do their thing.

No chance at all they are very sensitive and require just the right amount of sunshine.
