Yes, honey is fine. The following websites have a list of foods that you should avoid, though.

Infants shouldn't have honey because it can potentially contain botulism spores (particularly unpasteurised honey) which children under 12 months are too young to fight off. It has nothing to do with allergies. Adults for the most part are able eat honey without ever becoming sick. A pregnant woman's body should be able to handle exposure to botulism spores without becoming sick and therefore there shouldn't be any risk to the fetus.

Eating honey is not problem for pregnant women. However, you may want to avoid eating peanuts when pregnant or while breastfeeding, especially if there are peanut allergies in your family. This early exposure could make your baby more likely to develop an allergy to peanuts. Honey and peanuts (including peanut butter) should not be given during the first year.

I heard that it can subject your unborn to allergies. Also, they say it is really bad consuming raw eggs (or undercooked) because that can subject your unborn child to allergies as well. I'm sure small amounts of honey would be fine once in a while, but if you're concerned about allergies for your child then I wouldn't eat it. However, there are only a small portion of individuals that are allergic to honey. Like everything though, MODERATION

yes, its fine. The reason an infacnt cannot have it is because it could cause infant botulism.......adults dont have to worry about it. Good luck with baby!

it depends on if it's raw honey or pasteurized. You can eat pasteurized but not the raw.
