Since I am 59, I hope it isn't. BUT, I sure feel like it is--especially when it takes me almost 5 minutes to get my poor, old bones out of bed in the a.m., and another 10 minutes before I can stand up straight.

p,s,--and all you kids saying anything over 35 is old: f*** you!
lol

It's one above 58 and one below 60. That's all it is.....a number that represents a lot of experience.

If a dog was 59......Damn! that'd be some old tired dog.

No, it's just a number. not so easy to say just young or old these days. I saw a program on TV about a 61 year old base jumping Angel Falls in Venezuela. Age means nothing.

Since I am 59 also, I can attest that 59 is a good age. Some things are slowing down, but most things are still go go. Both my wife and my girl friend agree that I am just now in my prime.

It all depends on your level of health and activity. 59 isn't old for most people, but for some it can be. i think that you'll have to look at it on an individual basis. People are living longer these days, and healthier lifestyles mean that people can stay fit and active for many more years than they did in the past.

So, to answer the question. No. Or at least it doesn't have to be.

Hey what do you whippersnappers know? As someone once said. "age doesn't matter unless you're a cheese!" If you're under 40, 59 may seem ancient, but if you're over 59......

no age is old...it's just a number that people use to box you into conformity. Don't dress this way because you're too "old" too "young" Don't date him because he's too old, too young.
Take your pick. The only time age is to make any difference is when you're talking about the age of consent and pedophiles.
For normal folks, age is just a number, nothing is too old. As long as there's life there's hope. Enjoy it!

Extremely old; very ancient! Anyone who is over 32 is consider old in my book! You're at your age to have cancers and other diseases because your cells is getting super old. Better start live life to the fullest. Start spending your money and have lots of fun.

Quoting the great Satchel Paige who pitched in the major leagues at the age of 59:

"Age is mind over matter. If you don't mind, it don't matter."
