Oh dear God NO!!! It was the President who took office in '92 - some guy named Clinton. He got the budget balanced after 12 years of reckless Republican deficit spending. The Reagan years were horrible economically - about the only thing that was cheap was gas and that's relative since wages were much lower. It took Clinton all of his first term and into his second term to straighten out the Reagan/Bush I mess.

far and away the best of the last 100 years. you would have to go back to Lincoln to find a better man. and even then the argument would rage.

America has a history of finding great men who rise to the occasions that would crush any other. Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Reagan. But between these giants, we seem to find the average. just the so so.

His presidency was certainly momentous. As time goes on he will be recognized as one of the better presidents in all of history. Certainly he is not in the class of a Lincoln or FDR but he is solidly in the top ten. He presided over a renewal of confidence in American ideals, the American economy and American power. He was able to keep the West strong and hasten the end of the USSR.

YES!

Clinton was worthless!! Had he done his job back in 1993, when Osama tried to blow up the Towers then, we probably wouldnt be in the predicament that we are in now.

well... you call rule out the bush's... obviously...

so then it turns into...

are you a democrat or a republican...

if your a democrat... you would say Clinton...

republican... you would say Reagan...

both had economic prosperity under unfriendly congresses... both terms were relatively peaceful... both had their scandals... both had Osama issues... Reagan gave him guns and training, while Clinton didn't catch him...
