I can't think of a good persuasive speech topic. What should I try to convince my audience??

It could be something big, like how capitol punishment is wrong, or something small, such as why peanut butter and blueberry sandwiches are the best. If you write a speech about something that someone else is passionate about, it's not your speech. Write about something YOU are passionate about. I'm sure you have an issue that you're completely for or against and can work with that. Good luck ( :

It all depends on how heated you want you topic to be. One of the topics I've notice used a lot are capital punishment, is it wrong to end the life of another human being or is it a just punishment. Another personal topic that would heat up different opinions is that of abortion and if a woman has a right to determine what she wants to do with her body or if it is murder. I have personally wrote one on cloning, whether they should spent all the time and money trying to figure something like that out when they could put it towards something that is effecting people today like ads and cancer. I hope that helped you a little.

something current:
america should put all their $ in alternative fuels and give up on gas
outsourcing jobs to others countries will bring problems in the future that will outweigh the financial gains now
america gets stupider by the day
the current unemployment system does not work as nurses can sit at home while the nearest hospital has nurses working double shifts
just watch the news and do your speech on your first reaction to it
