Because I am Bored!!!?

How old do you think I am???

Somewhere between being born and dying...
Somewhere between the truth and lying...
Is life serious or just a joke
Sometimes I am laughing, sometimes crying
But I'm so bored I want to choke...

Does it really matter how old I am?
Whether I'm human or just a lamb...
If I'm fixed or if I'm broke
Or maybe as old as Abraham
Maybe this boredom is just a cloak;

And looking inside beyond the cry
Am I hungry twisted and dry?
A white bird in a golden cage
Seeing the sky and unable to fly
My boredom really, repressed rage?

I want to fly beyond these bars
Around the moon and to the stars!
A golden Hand opens the door
And bids fly past Venus and fly past Mars
And now life won't be such a bore.

You can do it right here on this ol' earth,
All you need is a new birth;
Your spirit waiting the touch of God's hand
He looks on, feeling some mirth
As you are in limbo between old and new land.

A gentle and kind being is Father God
Who once visited us and traveled our sod.
And all He asked then and still asks now
Is to acknowledge the truth with even a nod
Whenever we see it and not have a cow!

We love Christmas and the season
Of giving and loving, but the real reason
Is often overlooked and/or forgotten
So we may be healthy or we may be sneezin'
But it's all about God's only begotten!

He was born into this earth
To lead us beyond our first birth
To a second one in His kingdom
Without which we will suffer much dirth
But having, we'll enjoy true freedom!

The important thing is, you must know the Son
Not throw him out as some have done!
He will lead you to happiness, contentment and joy
And the best you, under the sun,
whatever your age, whether girl or boy!
