Your friend shouldn't have a problem with you being friends with her friend. Maybe it was the way you did it? It sounds kinda like you tried to skirt around your friend and kind of sneakily seek to be friends with her friend. So perhaps the whole issue is that you tried to go into the friendship through the wrong door... (or at least your friend may be perceiving it that way) If your motives are pure, then you should just go to your friend and lay all the cards on the table and talk... communication breakdown is one of the big problems of the day. Seek to see it her way so that you will know why she is upset.. hope that helps

If your friend is mad at you for trying to be friends with her friend, and the one friend sent her your email, obviously these are not the kind of people you want to be friends with. Have you corresponded with your friend, telling her that you only wanted to be her friend, and that it is hurting your feelings that she is mad at you over this? What did you say in the email that should have her mad at you in the first place?
Brightest blessings.

If she was really your friend she would not get angry at the fact that you want to be her Friends friend. In fact she should be glad because you would have more friends in common and it would bring you guys closer together. Talk to her and let her know you didn't mean to get her angry. She might just be a little jealous or scared to lose your friendship. Just let her know you will always be friends and that you didn't mean to hurt her in any way.

If all it was, was a simple e-mail about wanting to be her friend, then you really have nothing to worry about. But if you bad mouthed your friend, then your friend has every right to be mad at you. But hey life goes on, maybe you'll find a better friend!

Find out why your friend doesn't want you to have any other friends. That doesn't sound like much of a friend to me!

How old are you people? It sounds kind of juvenile to me. No one can have too many friends!
