For me, it wasnt until POTC II--- I did like his other stuff like, Sleepy Hollow, Secret Window, and Edward Scissorhands----but seems like I just overlooked him until now. lol

The first Pirates movie is when I started liking him. Then, like you I think, I looked back at his other movies and realized I liked him in those movies too. But he's real good and becoming the character in the movie. Maybe it's just me, but I have a hard time recognizing him sometimes, he transforms into the character so well.

First, he was on 21 Jump Street, which I would go to my cousin's house to see b/c she had cable. I loved him from that point on. Edward Scissorhands is a favorite. I also like What's Eating Gilbert Grape? - but his part wasn't big enough on there. Benny & Joon is also another 'oldie' but goodie.

The first movie that made me like Johnny depp was Cry Baby, he was looking good in those leather pants. I also liked him in the Secret Window, but I wish he wasnt the bad guy, but he was cute with the braces at the end. I also loved him in edward scissorhands because he made me fall in love with him when he was making that Ice sculpture. I loved him in sleepy hollow, he is very talented. I love him in the pirates of the caribbean because he looks very hot in that pirate costume and all dirty from rolling around on the ground. I just Love him all together because I think that he is very talented and that he is very very very very very HOT!!!!!! Please pick me and Thanks!!!

I liked him from Nightmare on Elm Street ... but I fell in love with his abilities in two movies: What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Benny and Joon. Also, I religiously watched 21 Jump Street ... so. His new movie on DVD The Libertine is also, wow. My fav role of his is Jonathan Barry in Finding Neverland.
