I remember the first porn site I ever checked out you had to dial into their number to access their site it had no pictures was grayscale and was mostly postings of swingers trying to hook up, but I knew it would progress quickly from there. The number was found in a Hustler magazine classified section.
I used a Macintosh SE20 which boasted a 20 mb hard drive and a 700k disc drive with a 9 or 10' monitor, the year was 1991 or 92.

ARPAnet is probably the precursor of the internet and should be counted as the first site even before there was a WWW. It doesn't exist in that form anymore it is a part of the Department of Defense.

I put a few links in for you, so go there and connect the dot.coms!

2004-10-07: the very first web site was nxoc01.cern.ch, and the very first web page was http://nxoc01.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html. That site shut down a long time ago. For more information, and a later copy of those early pages, see the personal FAQ of Tim Berners-Lee, who invented the web.

I'm sure it's been updated since '94. There is a site out there that has the original webpages on it. I will try to get that link and email you if you have your email on this thing
