Because it's Yahoo and it's down again.
OR
Perhaps the aliens are starting their invasion grab the aluminum foil and wrap it around your head just in case.

ok yahoo have closed there server..reason ..upgrading there system on yahoo messenger they have done this befor last time yahoo was closed offline for 6 hours it may take upto 2/3 hours more befor yahoo messenger is back ..reson for upgrading there system .. is to block booters from using booting software. and as for having to pay for yahoo chat time that is not true yahoo will be and always free chat server . yahoo is offline till the upgrading there system work has been done it will be back sometime dont keep trying to login to yahoo messenger or yahoo email as yahoo may lock your yahoo id offline and you will have to go to the yahoo website to unlock your yahoo id yahoo messenger will be back online soon as all work is done ..

mine has been down for at least 5 hours I dont know whats wrong with it but ive been looking for some kinda tech support to complain to or someone to get answers from

seems to be a 'server' situation - despite if it incredibly seems to be too much time - i think of mine crapped out around 4 or 5pm jap time - this is stressful as all yahell

We are having the same problem. The servers are down, so we could only hope they rectify the problem and will be back soon.
