My feet have become increasingly swollen in the last couple of days, I mean really really swollen, they look like two pieces of pork shoulder, I have been resting constantly, even this morning when I woke up they were swollen, should I go to the doctor or what I am 8 1/2 months pregnant?

Well, your doctor should check your feet every visit or ask you if you have had swelling. Otherwise, when I was pregnant, my feet were sooo big that I couldnt even wear shoes anymore. I tried everything keeping my feet up drinking lots of water. Nothing worked. They were quite painful but after I gave birth they slowly went back to normal. Also I dont know if you drink caffine but caffine causes feet swelling so check your diet.

I hate to tell you but you but you are going to have to cut sodium out of your diet. That was the problem with me and I love salt. I had to be really careful with prepared foods and keep an eye on the labels some foods you don't expect have lots of sodium. I drank loads of V8 because I though it was so good for me with all the vitamins in it but it had loads of sodium. But, take heart, you are almost there so hang in there a little longer. I would definitely mention it to your doctor at your next visit and if they get any worse give his office a call.

Definitely go to the doctor right away. You could have toxemia, which is very dangerous for you and your baby.

yes, drink lots of water and try and limit your salt. if it's really bad, you can ask your dr if a diuretic might help, but if you're that far along you're probably running to the bathroom enough as it is. :D
