Do what thousands of other people are doing, work a home based business that will set you free.. If you get it going now it is only a matter of time before it makes you more than that. If you are open to taking a look at something check out my "honest Opportunity" blog on yahoo360 or you can keep working where you hate, or get another JOB that you will eventually hate...
Either way it is up to you and I wish you luck...

Money is not everything in life you can always move. Do you like the work at all or just hate the whole job entirly. You can asked to be moved somewhere else. Or keep working there go to night school or get an online degree get a better job move away and start a new life.

Try to think of ways to make your job more fulfilling. Find ways of helping people ... both associates and customers it will make you feel good. You might be surprised though as far as what other opportunities are out there ... many aren't advertised. It's a who you know type of deal. You might want to join a club or two to network.

if your job pays 17$ an hour why would want to quit?
You will probably not find a good paying job like that often,
and like you said , "There are no other opportunities in your area"
so why you thinking about quitting? are you crazy?

Go to night school and get a degree, or a higher degree.
That is what I did. Took me 9 years to get a degree, at 1 class per semester. Now I have a great job.

You always have the option to search for another job - but I wouldn't quit the one you are at now until you have a definite job lined up! Good Luck!

When considering changing jobs always take the way of the wing walker. Be sure and get a good hold on one before you let go of another.
