No matter what brand I use or what color, My eyeliner always makes my eyes water for like an hour after I put it on. Anyone else have this problem, and do you have any solutions?

Don't listen to the people that think make-up is bad or that you shouldn't wear it. That's just not true. But anyways, if you are putting eyeliner on your waterline (the little wet skin colored spot above your lashes), it might be a little sensitive. Try putting your make-up on slower, because even if you don't notice it, when you put eye make-up on fast you could be poking your own eye without even knowing it. If that doesn't work, buy some eyeliner made by Burt's Beeswax, it's very natural and doesn't sting or make your eyes water at all.

try maybelline waterproof liquid its the old kind that a lot of women have been using for years. ive been using this sibce 1969abd it works just never use black eyelinerinstead use either brown or brownish black, also be careful when applying that the brush does not get into your eyes. also i do think that allmay makes a liquis eyeliner for sensitive eyes, you might try to dind it. i know that esteelauder and clinique do not make eyeliner at all. i also know that colorescience makes mascara but no eyeliner

Yes, I have this problem, however it only started from one eye liner that I dissposed of later, It was making my eyes water a lot! Espessialy my right eye it was unbearable. It also made my right eye feel like I had a layer of goo on it and made it foggy resulting in me not seeing very well out of it. You probably have an allergy to that brand of eye liner, change and see what happenes. Good luck!

Change brands and also try putting your eyeliner under your eyelashes instead of on top. Always use the pencil -not the brush and liquid.

Are you putting the eyeliner on the skin between your eyes and your lashes, or outside of your lashes? If you're putting it on the skin between your eyes, you're risking infection. It would also explain why your eyes water.

yeah me too also, try permanent make up eyeliner isn't too much money wise and you can do lips or anything you like. since its below the skin surface its easy to cover up if you want to use other colors.
