well...who said Israel didn't killed innocent lives??who said??Have you even watched or read the current news??Look at the figures clearly...if u may...because...due to 2 army personnel..is it worth or is it justified to claim hundreds of lebanese lives? Are these 2 people so important?are the a nation treasure that Israel have to kill civilians? They used their army..and for your info..which was provided by the americans. The never stopped the bombardment and yet..the US supported their cause. How many homes and how many people became victims and had to flee elsewhere? All they show was the sad and devastated faces and images of Israelis crying over their fate. This is all a conspiracy!!An act of pity by the US to rally the other nations that we all have to support Israel.WHAT ABOUT THE PALESTINES,LEBANESE,AFGHANISTANS??WHY AREN'T THEY GIVEN THE SAME TREATMENT?YET THEY ARE BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY AND STILL CALLED TERRORIST EVENTHOUGH THEY ARE FIGHTING AND DEFENDING THEIR LIVES WITH EVERYTHING ThEY GOT.shame on US and Israel!! The bottom line is...Israel and US are the real, big terrorists! If Iran is labelled a terrorist because they have nuclear weapons...then my question to all is...what about Israel? The ytoo have nuclear weapons..but why aren't theyan issue?Anti-islam??

Oh this is an easy question. Hezbollah are terrorist because they PURPOSELY target innocent civilians to kill . They send suicide bombers into public places to kill anybody they don't like. They TARGET civilians.

Israel only targets the terrorist. Oh, and by the way, Hezbollah HIDE behind their civilians. You can blame the deaths of Lebanese civilians on Hezbollah.

Because Hezbollah uses methods unsactioned by its government, and by society in general. Terrorist groups, by definition, use acts of extreme violence against persons in order to unduly influence those people to cow to their demands. They attack civilians, as well as military and government. They torture, behead, kidnap, use weapons of mass destruction.
Israel is a goverment, utilizing sanctioned means to defends its borders. Yes, they have crossed the borders into Lebanon - but its not to kidnap Lebanese civilians, it is to drive Hezbollah far enough back that Israeli cities will be out of range of missile attacks. Their bombing and missiles attacks aren't aimed at civilians (unlike Hezbollah) they are aimed at terrorist infastructure. Are civilians dying, yes - no matter how precise a bomb is, until you can build one that will only destroy those who it is aimed at, this will continue to happen.
Don't forget that Israel tried it the diplomatic way, many times in their past. When their soldiers and civilians were kidnapped, they traded the release of thousands of prisoners. You can see how productive that was. Not only are they still facing kidnap for ransom, but now it is on two fronts.

Because the big guys with power are never called terrorists.

If you look at many cases of terrorism, you find that those who are labelled terrorists are the little guys who are not organized governments and who choose to take on a large, organized system. For example, in the troubles in Northern Ireland, the Royal Ulster Constabulary, the official English police force in Northern Ireland, committed all sorts of immoral acts. There are cases where they went into pubs suspected of being hangouts for Irish Republican Brotherhood members and arrested every single person in the pub, including grandmas, young kids who'd been sent to fetch their fathers from the tavern, and people who didn't even live in the area, but happened to stop by for a drink. The people were held on suspicion of being terrorists, and oftentimes, they ended up in jail whether there was good information about them being tied to terrorist activities or not. Some people actually died "accidentally" while in police custody. There are other cases of RUC members who were said to be "off duty" walking into pubs and turning them into shooting galleries, killing almost everyone inside with a barrage of small arms fire. The list goes on and on. But no one ever accused the RUC of being terrrorists, except for maybe the people that actually had to witness those acts, or whose husbands, fathers, brothers and friends were among the dead. That label, "terrorist", was reserved for the IRA, an organization that did not represent a government, but rather a small group of people with no voice. Did the IRA do bad things? Yes, they did. Were they the only ones doing bad things in that whole conflict? No, absolutely not.

I don't condone terrorism, but I understand completely why it happens. It is sometimes the only way for people to get their point across when no one will listen to them and they have no power but the power to fight and resist however they think best. In many places around this world, sovereign governments hold all the power. They use legal methods of terrorism, such as specious arrests and illegal imprisonment to exercise their will on others. The fact that they wear uniforms, have official names, and hold all the power keeps them from being called terrorists.

When a small group of people with no voice and no power have grievances with a large, organized body, they will fight with whatever weapons they have. It may be the pen, but more and more, it is with the sword. The pen may be mightier in the long run, but the results of the sword are immediate, and they get the biggest bang and the most attention. That is the essence of why terrorism occurs, and why some people in a conflict are called terrorist, while others are not.

Because Israel are our allies, and we certainly wouldn't be allies with terrorists, right?

Oh, wait, what about that time in '97, when the Taliban came to Houston so that the oil companies could negotiate an oil pipeline?[1, 2] We sure seemed pretty chummy then.

Nah, I'm sure that was different.

Because Israel just wants to exist and they are defending themselves, and Hezbollah's whole reason for existing is to eradicate Israel.

BECAUSE ISRAEL IS A COUNTRY.
AND HEZBOLLAH "ARE" A TERRORIST GROUP.
ISRAELI SOLDIERS DONT, USE THEIR WOMEN AND CHILDREN AS SHIELDS, WHEN THEY ARE FIGHTING THEIR ENEMIES.
THAT'S THE FIRST PLACE, A TERRORIST GOES TO HIDE.
BECAUSE, THE COUNTRY OF ISRAEL, DOES NOT REAR ITS CHILDREN, TO GROW UP AND BECOME SUICIDE BOMBERS, THAT KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE.
THE TERRORISTS, DO BRING UP THEIR CHILDREN, TO BE JUST LIKE THAT. AND MAKE THEM MARTYRS, FOR THEIR IGNORANT CAUSE.
