Yes. There is only so many days that you are able to get your money back after leaving a deposit on a place that it can be refunded back to you..The place I work (I lease apt) It is 72 hours *3 days* then the deposit is not refunable If you come back before the 72 hours is up then YES you can get your money back.

Just saw this on one of the tv court shows, and since the intended tennant never moved in they had to retirn the security deposit. May have been a loop hole since it was only 6 days when she let them know.

if you don't move in, he keeps it, thats what it's for.
