Talent. Look at the latest winner of American Idol. What an ugly guy. The runner up looked fantastic, but she did not win.

Like several posted, I (like to think I) have both (smile).
But my choice of the two would be talent, without hesitation. Good looks can get you far in the world, yes, but as someone said, good looks/beauty fades. Talent can only grow and get better with practice and application. And it also can get you far in the world as well. I also think talent give more back to one's self (self-fulfillment), whereas with beauty you only get real satisfaction from looking in the mirror and having others ogle you, which in actuality is merely obtaining gratification via other people's opinion of you - which I think is a deceptive way to obtain self-confidence and/or self-fulfillment.
