His novels are worthy, I would suggest Women although it comes of as very misogynistic. I am a huge fan of his poetry which is the most straight forward thing I believe has ever been written, the man didn't care what people thought about him and just wrote what was on his mind. Also his short stories in Hot Water Music are fantastic.

I used to read Charles "Barfly" Bukowski, haven't in a while, I guess since you mentioned him, I will visit a web site of his poems. Really simple and profound, the combo of poetic genius.

sure they do just look at his wide availability.

I have never owned any of his books, but I find some of his poetry entertaining.
