I like Troy Polamalu. He seems to be a really nice guy off the field, and a d*mn good defensive player! I really like his hair and his smile, as well as his attitude. He seems really grateful to be playing, unlike some NFL guys.

I agree as well -- you could put him in any position on the field and the guy would work his butt off to make plays, he just is always hustling on the field.
What I've read about him does make him seem like a genuine and down-to-earth guy in the real world. Hopefully the attention he's gotten won't change any of that.
And yes, I love the hair -- although he must get hot, and I always wonder if it gets pulled-on when he plays.

He's simply a great player, one of the true impact players in the NFL, and from the little i've seen of him off the field, really seems to have his head on straight. Hey, I'd take him on my team; he can flat-out play!

I like him for pretty much the same reasons you said. He has sweet hair, a great attitude and he knows that it is an honor to play in the NFL.
