Tiger keep rollin!

The Tigers are putting together another streak...shhhhh dont tell anyone, because they are suppose to be tailing off

D Young lit a spark today and we needed that from a left handed bat. Dont forget D young is in the last year of his contract and he is also hanging on to his job by a thread. Look for this to continue, but it will make management think twice about risking too much in a trade. Its a win win for us fans, because the worst thing that happens is that we get to watch the guys win who have suffered with us for the past several years.

I personally think they should continue to go after Soriano. If Young keeps it up we get our left handed bat back and we improve the right side significantly. That is a double whammy to all those chasing.

With Young getting off to a good start tonight that will instill confidence going into the next game...he could have a monster 2nd half that could better what Abreu could give us without spending the money. Believe me management is thinking this way also. Abreu is out anyway. The Tigers will not spend that much money on a left handed bat with only 8 HRs. Soriano would be a better investment.

Back to the game. Verlanders ERA dropped again as his ROY stock rises. He got in a little trouble early, but it turned out to be the only run he gave up and he only gave up a few hits after that. One thing about these Tigs as soon as these pitcher get a few runs and a win is in sight it seems as though they kick it up a notch and virtually shut people down.

pitching will be just fine, the manager has the experience, the team is young. However, the Tigers have had trouble figuring out how to beat the White Sox, the Yankees, and the Red Sox. That's important because those teams will be in the playoffs. That being said, I am a Tigers fan, so Yes! They will win!

They have a good chance! They have a manager who has them motivated and believing in themselves, they have good pitching, good fielding and clutch hitting. They will have to beat the White Sox, Red Sox and possibly Yankees. Their record against those teams is not so great. If they get by those obstacles and reach the World Series I think they will be able to beat the National League representative.

I am beginning to believe.

I knew that they would make they playoffs, but now think they will go all the way.

Lack of experience?

Get real.

Jim Leyland HAS BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT!
Ivan Rodriguez HAS BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT!

Besides, talent--not experience---wins ballgames!

And The Tigers have both.

Good Night, Gracie.

If they can stay healthy.I think the Mets will be the only ones that might threaten the Tigers.

No, I can't see their pitching staff holding up the rest of the year (except for Verlander, he looks like the real deal). They'll get to the postseason but won't advance.

I think they and the mets have a chance. both teams are really turing around and i think either of them can be the 2006 world champions

I think it may be a long shot but look at it,how long are we gonna wait for them to come back to "normal"? They haven't,and they way they are playing it doesn't look like they will. This may just be their season! Wouldn't bother me to see them win it all!
