which of these are correct? I keep going back & forth. no matter which I pick, it doesn't make sense 2 the other

That is called a logical paradox, where both statements cannot exist in any logical sense of the term. It's like the old question of "What happens when an irresistable force meets and immovable object." The answer is that, by definition, there cannot exist both "an immovable object" AND "an irresistable force."

It's a paradox for a reason. It continues into itself, thus making the correct answer unavailable because both of them are wrong and right at the same time.

A is true, and B is true. Neither is a sentence, so whatever sentence A and sentence B they're referring to is somewhere else.
