no, bonds shouldnt be indicted, although he may have taken steroids, etc. what about the other guys??? nobodys bothering mcgwire, sosa, giambi, etc. its not as if bonds is the only one. i think that even if he did take steroids it should cancel out with disadvantages he faced, not HR friendly home park, less chances to homer because of high intentional walks, etc. and advantages other players have had, for hank aaron it was a homer friendly park and a high amount of ABs (partly because of lower walks), for babe ruth it was not having to face black pitchers or specialist relievers, etc. if he breaks the home run record (which i hope he does) it definitely should count, and i think it will. it is just to hard to make it not count because of steroids when there is no proof

It depends what Bonds is indicted for(and of course if he is). If he is idicted for tax evasion it will count, but if he is is indicted for lying to a grand jury about using steroids I feel his homerun count will either be erased or asterisked(*).
That being said,I feel he won't break the record anyway because of his knees failing him and I don't think he will go and DH because he would rather break it the "right way" or no way at all.

It just shows the public that the government is willing to hop onto any bandwagon that will make them look good and win elections. This is strictly a baseball matter, and it should be handled by the baseball commissioner and the team owners. If they indict Bonds, will they indict a pitcher for scurffing up a ball or using a foreign substance on it to make it drop? The media, of course, are having a feeding frenzy which is good for advertisement and boost their bottom line and make the corporate shareholders happy.

Wake me when they have proof that Bonds did anything. If they had evidence he'd be indicted by now.

He won't break the record, but if he did I'd treat it as the major accomplishment that it would be.

I say get rid of him. I'm tired of hearing about him. I don't know if he is guilty or not but I'm just sick and tired of the media driving the whole thing into the ground. Enough already!

I THINK THAT IT SHOULD NOT COUNT BECAUSE OF HIS PAST HISTORY ITS A CHEAP WAY TO GET IN THE RECORD BOOKS AND IS TAKING AWAY FROM THE TRUE BASEBALL PLAYERS

Did anybody ever test to see if Babe Ruth or Hank used any performance enhancing drugs?
