Ive known lots of people that love to put a unique design on their bodies something they can cherish and to show off their personality and thats cool but at the same time i like a girl more without these things and if it was a girl i would love her just as much if she didnt have anything on her. Why sacrifice pain and blood for permanent art? Diamonds are much more valuble and last even longer than a human life. And jewelry has unlimited designs. Girls why cant i look at your personality, and admire its beauty? And thats without any apperance inhancers.

<--------- That's my tattoo.

Some people get tattoos to commemorate a special person or event in their lives. To honor that occasion or person, if you will.

Some people get tattoos to help overcome some kind of issue in their lives. Like abuse, or addiction.

Some people get tattoos to alter their bodies because they either want to enhance or increase beauty.

Some people get tattoos to cover up scar tissue or signs of surgery.,

Some people get tattoos because it's part of their culture.

i think it's great that you look at women for their personalities.....that's kind of rare....but don't judge the ladies with tatts too much. There is usually a story behind it...and a good one. And that story will tell you a lot about the woman.

You said it yourself, why do either of them as they are basically the same. They are not happy with what God gave them so try to enhance it with all the art, stones and created things that says God did not make me good enough so I have to do something to make it better in my eyes. Beauty comes from within, it is not the outward adornment. To see a woman with all the bangles and rings hanging from her ears, nose, and no telling what else or seeing all the tatoos all over her body is really disgusting to me. Show me the inner beauty and the beauty that God gave and there is a truly beautiful woman. comes from within, not from without.

It is human nature to enhance ones appearance to their own liking. If you like and care for someone a tattoo won't matter. It is art you know and art is a wonderful thing, especially the unique stuff.

Ewan MacGregor got his tattoo stolen from him in the film "Pillow Book"(1996). Oh sure his character was a 'little bit' dead at the time, but that film was such a trippy turn on.

bro doogle is funny..that's a slick answer...anyways I think that everbody does it for a different reason, to some people it is a way to tribute someone they lost or the children they love, so it is more sentimental, and is not necessarily an enhancer.

i LOVE tattoos. obviously i don't have any because i'm (number a) too young and (letter 2) would be scared out of my mind to get one. but they have stories behind them. they're not just some jewel that's says "hey i'm rich!" the hell with that! tattoos express who you are. THAT'S why they're so popular
