this is for MS* ..... BTW... yahoo doesn't really have to let anyone know anything considering their services are free.... but i agree that they should at least let their paying customers know whats going on.

this is for Pebble Pam ---... yep i know.. have a few friends that can still log into yahoo mesenger... the thing is that yahoo has many servers not just one.... so, its a good guess that maybe a few of their servers are down due to power outage or may have crashed... hope that helps..

I cannot sign into yahoo messenger or yahoo mail with my yahoo ID, however two other people in this home have tried their Yahoo ID's and they can log into messenger and check their email fine!!!
It's kind of strange if some people can check their email and log into messenger fine, if the Yahoo servers are "down", but yes obviously now there are a lot of users affected... It's funny though two out of the three people can log in and we've tried it on this same computer... grrrrr

I think we're all intelligent enough to figure out that it is down. thanks for being so kind and re-iterating that fact. If anyone is like me.....they thought YAHOO staff would answer the question and be able to give us some insight on the situation.

they dont see when they type the question that there are a lot questions that have been posted like this.....
when i saw that yahoo messenger doesnt work to me i came in yahoo-nswers to see if the problem is around the world...
i didnt post a question....i saw the same question, i clicked on it to see the answers and then.......
some ppl.....!!!

you never know, with some of these people. A lot of their questions makes it sound like they would die without their messenger!
