I also placed my alarm clock on the dresser away from my bed. I still hit the snooze button and go back to bed though!

No but I have replace the button three time as a result of my wife's constant hammering. That is true.
Me, I don't need a snooze button, and half the time I don't need an alarm clock. 4:57 AM gives me three minutes to turn the clock off before it offends the neighborhood. Then I hit the floor running. The trouble with being a morning person is you aren't an evening person. If I am not asleep by 9:00 PM someone is dead or rapidly approaching that condition.

The snooze button has become more of a habit for me. Sometimes when I wake up I don't even realize I've hit the snooze a few times already. Other times when I wake up before the alarm goes off i just shut it off and fall back asleep. But I can get ready pretty quickly so it's no big deal.

I set my alarm for 30 minutes ahead of the time I want to get up so that I can hit the snooze 2 times and still get up on time
I guess hitting the snooze makes me feel like I am sleeping in

There's an alarm clock on the market that has a 4 piece "jigsaw puzzle" snooze button. When the alarm goes off the jigsaw puzzle jumps off the clock onto your floor. The only way to turn off the buzzer is to assemble the pieces back on the clock. It's for people who can't seem to wake up.

Are you kidding? One time I picked up my entire clock and threw it across the room! I had been up most of the night studying for finals. Yes, I have hit the snooze but some days I am awake before the alarm goes off. :)

Yes. I set my alarm for an hour before I actually want to get out of bed and hit the snooze for that full hour.

I set 3 alarms in the morning for 3 different times. That way I don't even have to hit snooze...it's already built in.

I never hit the snooze but if you really have a hard time with alarm clocks check this one out! It comes out just in time for Christmas this year and has been in Wired mag and on "Daily Planet".
I'd get it just to keep things crazy! (It would be hilarious- at first anyway...) LOL

I've never understood the point behind the snooze button. If it's time to get up then it's time to get up. If you can afford to sleep a few minutes longer then adjust your alarm accordingly. So the answer is no, I do not hit the snooze button. I think it should be called the lazy moron button.
