Honestly that is a hard one to answer not knowing what you plan on majoring in. Like for example, if I was getting into advertising, film media, art & theater I'd go to NYU. Cornell is good for business, Notre Dame.. well I used to party there a lot in the late 80's but I'd not go to school there (mandatory classes in Roman Catholicism) and Berkeley is great for social sciences and political science. If I was going to choose a science or engineering major I'd not go to any of those colleges.

I've done the most research on Cornell and I actually reeeally wanted to go there for a while, but New York is a long way from Texas...
Cornell has a great reputation, the campus is beautiful, there are so many majors to choose from, its an Ivy league, It has a pre-vet program and a great equestrian team (thats why I wanted to go there!!), and I just got an overall really good impression from it. Out of the universities you named I would definitely go to Cornell!

Is money an issue for you? For the money, Berkeley is one of the best degrees available.
