saddened. we know the dangers and worry about our kids getting hurt, both emotionally and physically. we love our kids and only want other people in their lives who do as well. it is not a control issue, but a love thing.

Well...not knowing if this is the parent or the child asking? I'll answer from the "parent"...I don't feel...it's actually quite numbing...My (at the time) 14 yr old daughter upon entering a drug treatment facility was req'd to have a pap/and gyn check up done...I thought that was ridiculous...until I found out she was in "pre-cancerous" stage from having the Human papolo........(spelling escapes me) virus....fortunately...we had "cryo" surgery done...killed the cells and she is ok...but had she not gone for this appt...she could have died from cervical cancer by age 20 something....that is numbing! Sex early....disease transmitting...never near the Lord's plan for any of our children's lives! This just showed me we have to get on our knees for our children and pray to the Lord that He would show them the way and help us to help them! They are all worth saving...every last one of them...Something is missing in their lives to make them go out and have mulitple sex partners....We, as parents have to stand in and fill in the gap....and love them....Best of everything...
