Get out... ANYWHERE! Museum, gallery, coffee shop, mall, join a group, volunteer for a charitable organization... wherever your interests lead you. Strike up a conversation or two or twenty. I talk to strangers all the time. Sure, a few are going to look at you like you're a serial killer, but who wants to associate with them anyway, right? I was very shy when I was younger, but I got tired of being bored and lonely. Now I'll walk into a crowed restaurant alone and ask to share a table. Just do it and keep doing it and before you know it you'll have a circle of friends to do lots of things with. It might feel uncomfortable at first, but fake it until you make it. Now turn off that computer and get out there! Good luck! *smile*

Loneliness is one of lifes worse miseries, i suggest u get out and meet people, u may be saying no it isnt so easy I dont know your age but perhaps join a club some organisation where u would get to meet many people perhaps in the same situation before long u will find friends have company and start enjoying urself again. I had that problem a while back. Think carefully. Is something bothering you? Some unresolved issues? Last year, all of a sudden, a cheerful me just felt like being alone. I stopped eating lunch with my friends and just did everything I could to stay away from other people. During that time, I thought a lot and found out that I just needed some time alone to myself. One of my friends saw that I seemed really depress, so he kinda forced me to talk to him. It helped, because I finally told someone what was bugging me and things like that. Stress plus some personal problems. Just talk to someone you trust, and you'll feel much better later on! Good luck!

there can be a lot of things that cause loneliness....relationship problems or a feeling of not being good enough for something. the key is to get out and meet people. every time i start feeling lonely i go out with some old friends and meet some of their new friends. it works.

look at what is creating the loneliness.....is it stress, depression, shyness? if it's stress or depression, then you need to look at the issues. tackle the issues one at a time, or it becomes overwhelming. if you're shy or have a hard time in social situations, the key is to expose yourself slowly to these situations. grab a friend, and meet their friends. this will take some time to overcome, but for sure it's possible.

Well i would say get some friends..maybe you can chat with people on here..make some connections with someone..or maybe you can email and start off that way...
