I've read some of the answers on here and I'm really amazed! So you think terrorists are willing to 'sit down' and discuss this like rational human beings? You really think that they will go, 'Oh, okay, we want peace, too, so we will back off'?! Either you are running for the Miss America pageant ("world peace") or you need a serious reality check!
No, I do not believe this is WWIII, yet. There can't be destruction of all terrorists - they are recruiting 5, 6, 7 year old children that will carry on their 'cause'. We can only hope to contain them, for awhile. So many people put President Bush down for sending troops to Iraq. Well people, we got Saddam, that's a start. Wonder what this Israel invasion by Hezbollah would really be like if Saddam was still in power? You do what ya gotta do.....

I believe World War 3 started directly after World War 2, when the "peace" created new grievances and led to the Cold War and the imposition of Israel on the Middle East. If by terrorists you include the United States Government, the State of Israel, British colonial forces, all political fanatics and fanatics of all religions; then if it could achieve the destruction of all those and leave the rest of us alone it would be worth it. However, it seems that the aforementioned are determined to drag us into their madness. WWW 3 will only be worth it if it is averted and all nations and groups decide to end the use of violence to achieve their goals. No war is worth anything except destruction and no good ever comes of them.

No we are not in WW 3, check the stats on what a world war is. As for getting rid of all the terrorist in the world, not gonna happen either. Their have always been unhappy people willing to give up their lives for what the think is right no matter how crazy the rest of the world thinks it is. Look at America in 1775, most of the people in the country did not want to leave England, just those revolutionary's in Boston, and Virginia. And look what happened.

No!! All terrorists will never be destroyed as long as their are people in the world who believe that the ends justify the means. This is not world war 3 just a few countries seeking their own advantage under the guise of defense and / or democracy. The people must speak up about injustice and not give in to manipulation fear, and /or greed.Peace.

you're only getting your self right into a pissing contest. Time to enable go of the gangster mentality. both events are operating as a crew to ruin the country. Whom ever comes after BHO, will proceed the ball rolling, equivalent to Bush persevered Clinton's stride. end being a lemming, and verify out to have an unique theory. there is the position the issue is, no man or woman thinks for themselves any more effective.

Wild Wild West? I didn't even know they made a sequel...

But really, you cannot destroy "terrorists". War creates terror.

And ofcourse this isn't World War 3. Republican administrations send troops into the middle east all the time. Israel bombs and occupies Lebanon all the time. What's happening now is the same stuff that's been happening for decades.

What is wwwIII what is the third w for? Is it for W. Bush? Ummm, if we kill all the terrorists, we just made more terrorists out of the people mad about us killing terrorists, so it will never end. The only end for this cycle is tolerance and peace.

NEWS FLASH!!!

You can not rid the world of terrorism through the use of violence!

Haven't the past five years taught people anything? All we are doing is creating more terrorists.

Just because there isn't bloodshed on our soil doesn't mean that we aren't in WW3.

No, it's not worth it, but unfortunately, if we pull out now, the US is going to have to be prepared to be fighting this war on our own soil.

Just be grateful for everything that you're able to do now while you can.
