Au revoir, cherie.

My French is a little rusty, but it means, roughly: "How are you? I was thinking of you tonight, dear. Come here now, and I will give you a thousand hugs. Goodbye, dear."

Hugs is probably "embrases"--I think that the writer may have misspoken. The verb "embraser" means "to set fire to."

"Cherie" is a generic term of affection--it means "dear" literally, but is more like "sweetie."

Good bye darling in French..but u can say Au revoir Ma cherie..which is Good bye My darling. "Cherie" is feminine so U are speaking to a female of course.

It is French. Literally it means, "Good-bye, Cherie". Cherie is a proper name, and as used here, could mean many things, such as a term of affection, or even animosity. However, it basically means, "Good-bye, baby" or "Good-bye, dear".

Hi,

"Good bye, sweety."

"How are you doing, sweety. Tonight I think of you. Come here now, and I will give you a lot of kisses."

"Good bye, sweety."

Aww, what a beautiful phrase you are asking!
