Maybe for some really little kids, the movies might be a bit scary. However, the books and movies are both excellent stories for kids to read.

I dont think it's bad for children, my 9 y/o loves it! But personally, I think Harry Potter is just dumb...

Of course it's not "bad for children." It's a great fantasy series, and more or less anything that can convince a child to read is a good thing.

nop of course you see a little boy standing infront of evils by himself but also surrounded with friendship and good.I have never seen another child character who is such crowded and lonely at the same time.Why is it bad to be a hero in a world without god and in a world of not perfectly drawn lines between goods and bads.ı guess it teaches children to stand on their own foot

No, in fact it's probably the best thing you can get to entertain children, these days there are things that could scare there innosence, (believe me, i was one of those children)

i dont think so at all but when the book first came out ppl were all sketchy about their kids reading it and i dont see the problem...its just about wizards and stuff...nothin rele that bad!
