As with any percentile, move the decimal two digits to the left. For example, the decimal equivalent of 100% is 1. The decimal is at the end of 100, in this case, so you would move it 2 digits to the left, which would be between the 1 and 0, making it 1. If the percent is less than 10, then add a zero to get your decimal. Example, 5% is .05, which is 2 digits to the left. Hope this helps! Math is easy if you understand it.

1.00- 100 percent is not a decimal. For example- if you have 4 apples and some one takes two away, you have lost 50 percent of your apples- or .50. Take 4 times .50 and what do you get? 2- So if nobody takes your apples you have 100 percent, or 1.00. 4 time 1.00 equals 4.

To convert a percent to a decimal, you simply drop the percent sign and divide by 100.

to change a percentage into a decimal you need to first make it a fraction.
100% = 100/100 or in simple form 1/1 or 1
to make it a decimal it is
simply 1
or
1.0
(remember per cent means per 100 ie. 54% means 54 per hundred and 30% means 30 per hundred)

100% means all. so 100% wouldn't be a decimal. it would just be "1".

1.0, because to have a percent means to have a number less than one. You have to multiply by 100, because there is 100% in a whole, and that always leaves a number less than one. If you multiply 100% by .01 (one hundredths), you get 1.0.
