Start by using a capital letter - God. Then look in the mirror. Study your eyes, the window to your soul. Inside there somewhere hopefully you will find something much bigger than what you see in the mirror that cannot be measured or seen, but can be realized by the intellect which can communicate with your spirit. Most of the powerful forces that really matter in the world are abstract.
I love Einstein's comment: "I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details."

A place to meet God? well God is every where just look around but I find the best place to talk to him is somewhere quiet and with nature around me, it gives me a sence of that he is listening. Eventhough I know that he is listening all the time. But I also it is a personal choice of where you want to be to talk to him.

creator is everywhere so you've already met him, in the dew on the grass, the whispers in the wind, the rainbow in the sky, the thunder during the storm, to feel that intimate connection relax let it happen. the first thing you must do is know you'll be successful, no one can connect you to god it's a very personal experience and he can come to you in any form. just be prepared to accept the connection you make as it comes and not as you wish it to be.

Anywhere, any time. You can talk to God from the tallest building in the world or the deepest ocean. He has no boundaries. The only limitation is the one we place upon ourselves.

The best place to meet God is where there is no sin in your life, not to say that you can't meet God if there is sin in you, but its the best way to meet Him. It's anyplace where you are sin free; so to better define my answer, I'll say the best way to meet God, at any place, is through Jesus.
