There are no cheats! But if you want to get bells fast, put a LOT of bells in your savings account (talk to Pelly/Phyllis in the mail section). Then change the year in your DS to the year 2099 at the start up menu. Then when you start your Animal Crossing game, use the phone and tell it to reset the date. Then go to the post office and look at your money, you should have lots. If you time travel into the future a lot, you'll have LOTS of weeds growing in your town though.

If you want to find another fruit, you have to go to someone else's town on WiFi or wireless mode and pick some, send a LOT of letters to your neighbors and attatch a fruit (they will write back and they might give you an apple or peach but you have to write a long letter [use up four lines]), or you can check the beach everyday, sometimes a coconut will be washed ashore.
