There are some radio stations which seem to repeat the same songs over and over. They claim to put their play list together using
research. What research ?? Surely any one would say they would prefer more variety. Some do appear to be getting the message SLOWLY !!

I know what you mean. The three radio stations that I normally listen to, I swear their playlist is only about 20 songs. Sometimes I will hear a particular song 10 times per day. It really sucks!!! My advice to you......when possible, bring cd's lol

Radio doesn't care what you or I would like to hear. They play music based on the music industry money makers. They want to make money. They want to make so much money that you get to listen to horrible car dealership and bar commercials yelling in your ear for 3 minutes between the 4 top ranked songs they played 2 hours ago. The DJ's around here don't even know the genre of music they spin. They get song names wrong. Radio really, really sucks.

get yourself on radio angel, its comes from a place called havant in hampshire. twenty four hours a day, manned by volunteers and for the mature persons, especially those who were in the forces, it brings back so many precious memories, you do get repeated songs but all lovely music.they are on radio 101 and on web so if you travel around you can always keep in touch. they are unique and bloody good. the best of luck to you radio angel and all you wonderful presenters who give up your time to entertain the mature who dont want to listen to the rubbish dished out daily and the chat. try tuning in you'll never turn off again
