I wanna to know why is it soo hot in Southern California and where is the best place to be living in to avoid this stubborn summer heatwave which is very uncomfortable and it includes this Humidity from the Stubborn Monsoonal Moisture Flow from the Desert Southwest and Mexico.Why is the weather here in the LA Inland Valleys (Like Pasadena,San Gabriel,Arcadia,Monrovia)very HOT in the summer and what is the culprit behind this heat and humidity in the Summer???

Cool weather is towards the mountains and coastal areas. Southern California is a flat land; therefore, your area is extremely hot.

sorry for the Sucky weather. I lived IN Southern California my whole life till one year ago. Now living in Oregon. This Summer has been extremely hot even in Oregon. Most the time North Western areas stay cooler during the Summer while South Western Americans usually bake! Just soak in the tub, drink cold water, go swimming, keep the AC on. If you can't afford AC on all the time, turn on the fans and put a couple of frozen 2 liter bottles in back of it to help things cool down a bit. Other than that. You're really not a lone too much. A lot think Global warming has something to do with it.

It is at sea level.all the way to Death Valley which is below sea level. There is little moisture. You always go up to leave the LA basin area. Even southern Arizona is only several hundred feet above sea level at most and very dry.

this is the media who portray California and the girls folk as so great. The media purely selects a team of celebrities and effective females to reveal on television, for this reason the stereotype that Californian females are warm.

it is so hot because of the unusually high temperatures. go to the beach and chill.
