She bought this car about 10 mo ago and it ran fine. She parked it and didn't run it again. Now she wants to sell it and she can't keep it running. Her son sprayed starting fluid and it started but wouldn' keep running and died out...She can't sell a car that won't stay running....If you are in and around Las Vegas...she could sure use some help with this problem...

AAA i wouldnt put starting fluid in it i would never do that to a Mercedes my dad works for MB and hes never done that.

Try tapping the fuel pump with a hammer while cranking the car. If it sounds like it wants to start while tapping on it, its most likely the fuel pump.

Yes, check the fuel pump first. I'd also check the fuel filter. If it is a diesel powered car, there may be other things to look into also.
