You people are crazy that think a size 12 is fat, a size 12 is like 150lbs!! The average American woman weighs more than 162lbs...so, size12-14's are not fat...they're average!!

Yes size 24 is a big woman at least 250 punds or little bit more.

That's really fat. Even if she is over 6 foot tall, she is still heavily built. Doesn't mean she is unattractive or has an awful figure of course - but she's a big girl.

That's not totally obese, but it is a pretty big girl. The average woman is a size 10 or 12 -- realize I am saying woman. Most girls are smaller than that.

regarding the girl above me, she could not be 5'0" and 150-175 pounds for a size 24. my mom is 5'2" and probably weighs about 150-160 and she's a size 12. so um, double that. why are you asking anyway?

That is very big, obese to put it kindly. I would say anthing over a US size 12-14 is fat.
