our church went to paint the outside of a house and we had paint all over and my friend dared me to lick the paint off of my hand, and one girl amy is a nurse and was all like "dont do it" soo would it really be bad if i had licked it? i know it would be stupid but im just wondering

Ok well this answer should be a simple one. ANY ingestion of paint, no matter what it's base is, is not a good idea. My whole thought is if it smells bad, DON'T eat it. You wouldn't lick the bottom of anyone's flip flop on a dare, (or would you?) so WHY would you have even considered eating paint?

YES it would be very bad if you licked it, You can get really sick or die if you actually ingest it and it gets into your liver. You would probably have to stay in the hospital for a month and then when you can't fight the infection that you develop because the human body is not used to that type of thing, they would have to take you to surgery and do a liveratomy (remove your liver) and take your liver but then you develop and blood clot and you are unconcsious for ten minutes, and then after thirty minutes of trying to recusitate you, you develop an anyerism and then DIE because you licked paint because your firend asked you too.

Yes i think it would be bad, because alot of paints are now made with lead and they could be poisonus. so i think it would be a bad idea to lick the paint, even if your friends make fun of you for it.

Yes, there are chemicals in paint that can be "poisonous" ! Hey I got one for you- stick your finger in an electrical outlet and write us back and tell us how it feels? How old are you-five?
