The Lord of the Rings for sure
Love the movies...but the books are 100 times better (as with most books turned movies)
I like Harry Potter too, books better than the movies again
I also like The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy books, HILARIOUS BOOKS! A lot of people don't like the movie, but I find it slightly entertaining.
