The girls I know that have had a baby(ies) very young and are happy have men who are a piece older than them and who know enough to have a home and can provide all the things mother and child need (including lots of love).

For instance Celine Dion at 13 was in love with her manager who was about 30 and eventually they married and they have had a wonderful life together.

Unlike my peers starting in Middle School (grades 6-8) all the way through high school, and into college I never had sex. Not because I couldn't but because I always knew that I would never be able to handle the side effects of having sex at a young age. Also I was raised the way a child should be raised. I feel like these young girls out there who want to have a baby are really longing for something else. Maybe that aren't getting the love that they really want from their family. I wish that young kids could really understand how sex at a young age can affect them in a big way.

Sex is one of those things that has huge responsibilities with it and is usually better the older one is. Most very young people today are very unaware of the afteraffects until it's too late. My suggestion, wait as long as possible to have sex, I sure wish I had when I was younger.
As for girls who are young and want a baby, it's absurd but nonetheless very common. Babies are someone to love you unconditionally, who rely on you 100% and though in theory that may appeal to many young girls...the long term doesn't usually turn out so well. Young girls have no way to support a baby, do not have the wisdom or proper support system. It's just a very unhealthy idea all the way around.

sex at a young age is not a good thing. sex leads to children and hey even with protection accidents happen. Kids are expensive and you need to be grown up enough to say no. Have a life before you want or even think about kids, they are alot of work and you can't just get rid of them when you get tired of them.

I was sexually active at the age of 14 and was pregnant at 16, so I have no right judging anyone. All I can say is weither you are male or female.... if you are going to play like adults then be ready to act like one when a baby comes into the picture.

I think it is stupid to have sex at a young age! I think its also a stupid Idea to have a baby at at young age! I have my baby at the age of 14! Its not smart!

i am at a young age and already know that xxx at young age a Big Fat NO NO!!! that leads to unprotected xxx when you get hooked and that leads to children. you should be at least in my opinion be 21 and married. if your not, and you are unprotected, who's going to support the baby? do you really think that the man you had it with will be there for you? 80% NO! the same with when your in school. you need to focused. get your head in the game. but i still have to say i wish i had a kid. but i know i can't afford another problem to handle for myself right now.

I believe in saving sex for mairrage. So however young you marry. I don't think that it is a good idea to have a baby until you have completed college and have enough money to support a family.

I feel so sorry for you girls. The guys never wanna take responsibility. Abstinence is best till you're married. Teens should, for no apparent reason have sex. You're ruining you life if you do. If you think I'm wrong, try ask people with experience. Try to read the bible regularly!

sex before you are 18 is unwise especially due to alot of misconceptions about sex, thinking nothing will happen to you, etc. . . until you are of a consenting age and can take the consequences of your actions, I advise against it . . babies having babies is not good . . . you need to live your life and experience things before taking on that responsibility . . . you may not think it is hurting you, but when you end up on welfare and things like that, you are hurting society because they pay for your mistakes . . . wait until you are of legal age where you can take care of yourself on your own and be independent . . . there is no reason to hurry things in life
