I listen to that launchcast radio thing all the time. This month, I've been listening to it a lot and I just got a notification that I've "reached my listening limit for the month". WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?? They give me two options...either I can buy the service "for less than $2.50/month" or continue listening "with limits". GRRRRR!! So their "limits" include no song-skipping on my freakin' station, and of course I hate half the crap they play! Just when I thought I had discovered the last free thing on earth...

What the heck??? It's not like I said I was an atheist or anything!!! GEEZ, I never thought such an innocent question would get answers like, "Read the Bible...it's free." I do read the Bible, but I WANT TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO FOR FREE TOO!!!!

And I DO HAVE A JOB! All I want is a break so that I don't have to spend my hard-earned money on something that USED TO BE FREE!

Yes it makes me angry that nothing is really free. There is always limits on the stuff that is. People are so greedy these days. On games you get only so many free levels. Or you only get free 1 hour of the game if you download it. It is awful that there is not one thing on earth really free(unless it is something dumb)

Guess what, you just learned about business. Nothing is free, everyone wants to get paid. For the people that work at that satellite radio station you listen to, to the people here on yahoo. Just like you they have bills and just like you they work hard for what they make. So this is how it works. If something is free just look around and you will find instead that it is paid for some other way. The grand opening with free food? they will pay through higher prices at the store. Free newspaper? the advertisers pay. And a business is more likely to donate money or goods if they get some free advertising out of the deal, so not even the advertising is free because they paid for it with a donation to a charity. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY!!! this is not new it is just that you finally realized what other adults have know all along. Congratulations you just grew up.

Limewire is free :)
eMule is free :)
Regular TV service (not cable) is free.
Radio broadcasts are free.

And be glad that you didn't have to pay $0.99 to submit this question. For every pay service, there's usually an equally good free one.

EDIT : JP_E, yeah, but you can easily get news on the Internet, and almost all of it's free. As for the ads, either ignore them or block them.

Don't be so worked-up. Indeed nothing is free. When it comes "free", it is just a form of "bait" so that they can recover with gain elsewhere.

For instance, there are free newspapers given to the public. They had to put in the cost of paper, ink, labour etc., and yet it comes free to you. They will recover the cost through advertisements, etc.

Do not believe in anything that comes "free".

i'm fifty 4 years old. i changed into raised in a very undesirable kinfolk. We were money undesirable yet my father owned some land. He raised a huge backyard and chickens and maximum of what I ate, turning out to be up, changed into that. there changed into not additional money. money and happiness. that is genuine. money would not purchase happiness. notwithstanding that is likewise the case that poverty causes suffering. imagine of it this kind, in case you're taking care of to pay for to have a tremendous existence, that is about each of the happiness you get out of money. extra may enable for some better toys yet once you grow old that would not look major. What I did to get out of poverty? First, I found out the position the severe paying and volatile jobs were and changed into prepared to bypass to there. (volatile jobs are frequently severe paying because each man or woman is scared to do them.) i changed into 18 then. i ended up struggling with woodland fires. The activity lasted the summer season and paid nicely. Then, interior the wintry climate, I went to college and studied technological understanding and math. I did this for decades. Being undesirable sucks. The worst component about it is the social component, how others manage you for being undesirable. as if it is your fault or some thing. Bye the way, my first automobile cost me $50 and the first component I had to do changed into to take the fender off because the motorized vehicle were in an coincidence (subsequently the $50) and bend it out by using hitting it with a sledge hammer so as that the wheel ought to bypass - the fender bend into and shrink the tire. yet I surely have continuously valued having a automobile. It allowed me to get jobs and it allowed me to bypass to college. between 15 and 18, in reality I only tolerated being undesirable. I had a tiny activity at a convenience keep which changed into 3 miles away and that i'd walk there and again. that is the position I were given the $50 for the motorized vehicle. in any case, good success. What worked for me may (or received't) furnish you with concepts. For me college changed into truly major. best of success.

i was watching baseball game today and they're like "for every home run hit during this season samsung will donate $1,000 to this charitable foundation..samsung: the best wireless company ever". or something to that effect. it's stupid they're using a donation to a good cause as a means of gettin ad space for cheap. if you're going to donate, just donate. don't use it to help yourself somehow

The wages of sin is death. But the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your problem is you are not looking for the greatest thing. For only the great things are free.
